Ponoka Kinette Club
Who we are

The Ponoka Kinettes are a group of women working together through volunteering and fundraising to make our community a better place. Our club consists of busy, professional women who balance careers, families, school and other commitments.

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm (excluding July & August). Meetings are usually held at the Ponoka Kinsmen Rec. Centre.
As part of Kin Canada, Ponoka Kinettes join Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin Clubs across Canada to fulfill the Association’s mandate, “Serving the Community’s Greatest Need”.
What we do

Our most recent projects include the Ponoka Splash Park, the new Firefighters Riverside Playground, the Garden Makeover at Ponoka General Hospital, fall cleaning at the Ponoka Food Bank and a birthday celebration at Long Term Care.

Our recent community donations include the School Lunch Program, Centennial Centre Christmas, the Ponoka Youth Centre, the Volunteer Fire Department, the Ponoka Food Bank, the Royal Canadian Legion, Santa’s Anonymous, Community Christmas and sponsorship of a Graduation Bursary at Ponoka Composite High School. We also support Kin’s national service projects, Cystic Fibrosis and the Kin Canada Bursaries program.
