The facility known as the "Calnash Trucking Ag Event Centre" is the fulfilment of a vision held by a large number of the current Board of Directors and other like-minded community members, spanning nearly a 20 year time period. It was recognized for many years that central Alberta needed a year round agri-recreational facility, to compliment other existing facilities. With easy access from #2 highway, and being located in the heart of the horse industry, Ponoka provides a prime location. It is an economic & tourism driver for the Ponoka area.
